Midi Hoard Metal Detector by Nokta Makro
The Nokta Makro Midi Hoard metal detector is a great way to get your kids out of the house and into metal detecting. The Midi Hoard is part of the world's first waterproof detector series for kids. It finds, pinpoints and discriminates in objects, just like an adult detector.
The Midi Hoard can be completely submerged up to 3 feet (1 meter) deep and meets IP68 standards. The shaft of the detector is retractable, so you can set it to be 32.5 inches long or 43 inches long. And the detector isn't heavy; it only weighs 1.9 pounds.
The machine is made very well and is easy for children to use. The LED screen has indicators that show your child what kind of target was found.
Works at 15kHz and has three levels of sensitivity and two levels
of discrimination. There are three tones and a mode called "pinpoint" that help kids find and identify targets.
The Midi Hoard metal detector comes with a two-year warranty and needs 2 AA batteries, which are not included.
