The JW Fishers SFP-1 is a single-frequency, commercial-grade underwater pinger. This type is programmable to any of the following frequencies: 22,32,40,50 kHz. Simply select your desired frequency when placing your order.

One of the SFP1's possible frequencies is specified at the time of purchase (22, 32, 40, or 50kHz). The MFP1 has frequencies programmable by the user between 20 and 50 kHz in 500 Hz increments. Before deploying the pinger, the operator chooses among sixty distinct frequencies. In the same geographical region, many pingers can be installed, each transmitting at a distinct frequency. This enables a diver to locate the exact location of each pinger without interference from the other pingers using a pinger receiver.

The pingers manufactured by JW Fisher are highly configurable, letting the user to pick the number of pulses per second, the duration of each pulse, and the output power. Adjustments to the duration of each pulse and output strength enable the operator to customize the detection range of the pingers. The operator can pick the transmission frequency of the MFP1 prior to deployment.
